By accessing or using Uverus Pay's platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Uverus Pay provides a personal finance platform that enables you to hold NGN and USD balances, send and receive money, spend with virtual and physical cards, and access yield products. Our services are designed for individuals residing in supported African markets.

3. Eligibility

To use our services you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide a valid BVN and government-issued ID for identity verification
  • Reside in a supported market
  • Not be prohibited from using financial services under applicable law

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and PIN
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
  • Keeping your account information accurate and up to date

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations (including AML/CFT rules)
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt our platform
  • Use our services on behalf of third parties without their consent

6. Fees

Our fee schedule is published in the app and on our website. We reserve the right to update fees with prior notice. Continued use of our services after a fee change constitutes acceptance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uverus Pay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for breach of these terms or as required by regulators. You may close your account at any time by contacting support, subject to settlement of any outstanding balances.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
